Mac Hancox
Having come through Mini and Juniors and been assistant coach at Edwardians for the last 4 seasons, as well as coached at county level GB and North Mids for Age Grade and Colts, Mac brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm for the game and how it should be played and coached, and is real asset to the development of playing for our OneClub approach at Old Yardleians RFC
Team First Aid/Trainee Physio
Sophie Robinson
Sophie continues in her 2nd season as our Playing Team as Team First Aider and trainee physio, having completed a triple distinction at Solihull college, Sophie is due to continue her studies doing a BSc Honours in Physiotherapy at UCB University in September Sophie is first aid trained and qualified in Sports Massage, Anatomy, Physical Activity and sports physiology including nutrition and also plays Womens rugby herself
Assistant Coach
James (Mal) Weller
Ex Edwardian and Sillhilians M&J with a great rugby pedigree, representing county levels on multiple occasions is a great versatile back field player, covering almost every position, spent most of his playing career as one of Edwardians top try scorers in the league and cup double scoring season. Commonly known as "Weller" and eager to apply his trade as Assistant Coach will undoubtedly see the duo improve the playing at Yards further
Club Captain
Adam Walker
Club Captain and 1st XV Skipper Adam joined Old Yardleians RFC as a Mini and Junior, following in his dads footsteps, Adam is now in his 5th Season as Club Captain and 1st XV Skipper and represented at Greater Birmingham
